update

Ok guys, sorry so long with another post. I have too many things I am trying to do at once. Imagine that around our house??

I finally turned in the first t-shirt order this week. YEA!! We had 36 in this order. Which I thought was good. We had originally thought we would just order ours first and show them around and then take orders, but people wanted to order with us this time. As soon as we get them, I will take a picture of our family in them and post it on here, so that you can see the finished product. Many thanks to everyone who ordered one.

We have made a little progress in the fundraising effort. Thank you all who have donated, you know who you are, and we are forever greatful. We continue to pray for the funds to be raised, and we know that they will, in GOD'S TIME. Since my last update, we have had some major setbacks as far as what the future hold for Gracie. We have been told that she will not ever be completely off of the ventilator. We know GOD has her future in HIS hands and that definately means she can be healed. In the meantime, we have to be realistic in planning for her future. This means the van is even more of a need and so will making our house handicap accessible. The house issue is another whole issue in itself. Don't want to go into details here and spill our whole private issue, but please list this as a "house prayer request" when you are praying for Gracie and our family.

I have spoken with a couple of people and also have 1 of our nurses working with me on trying to organize some different things. The Chick-fila day is out, they no longer do that for individuals. BUMMER. But we are working on some different things. I will keep you posted on the details.

If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, please email me and let me know or leave me a message on here. I do check this often, just haven't had any new news to report so I haven't updated.

Please keep up with Gracie's caringbridge website also. It is time for an update on it as well! Continue to pray for funds to be raised for Gracie's medical issues. www.caringbridge.org/visit/gracieannpoole

If any of you have any fundraiser ideas or contacts, please please let me know! I need all the help I can get. A couple of things that are possibilities are, a motorcycle ride, bowlathon, golf tournament, and a run??? If you have any info on these ideas or new ideas, please by all means pass it along!

Thanks so much.

sorry I haven't had time to write more and post pics! Our precious Gracie Ann, is in the hospital again, and extra time to be on the computer is scarce- to say the least! For those of you who don't know her story, check out www.caringbridge.org/visit/gracieannpoole She is a true miracle!!

I am new to this blogger thing, so bear with me!! We have 5 wonderful children, ranging in ages from 1-12, WOW, we have a houseful and wouldn't change it for anything in this world! I could not imagine my life without our children!! What in the world did we used to do to entertain ourselves??

Our story started long ago and far away................................... HA Seriously though, Brian and I met through a friend, thanks Cheryl, and Brians brother, when we were 15 years old, OMG that was a long time ago!! We dated for 5 years and marriend when we were both 20! The funny thing to start with was, I turned 16 before Brian, so I had to drive him on our first real date, which by the way, was to see the movie-Arachnaphobia!! Am I showing our age or what!!!

We wanted to start a family right away, so along came Alex when we had been married 2 years!! And then the fun began!!

ALex is now 12, he is your typical pre-teen that thinks he is grown!! But most of all LOVES to aggrivate his sister!! He is really a sweet boy with such a kind heart, and he is my momma's boy!!! GO ALEX!! However, he looks and acts JUST like his daddy-which is really kind of scary!

Savannah is 10, she thinks she is 20 but acts 2 most times!! Seriously though, Savannah is a good child, with an awesome heart, she is just hormonal!! UGH!! She is the 2nd little mommy around here! She is a good helper with all these other little ones running around though! She looks just like me when I was her age!!

Madie-Mae is 4, she is our little princess! She is such a girly-girl! Savannah was never girly since all she had was a big brother! Madie cracks us up!! She is a doll, and is another little mommy around here! She is going to graduate and walk down the isle with her "dappie" (pacifier) in her mouth! I swore I would never be a parent that let a big child walk around with one in their mouths, and Madie made me eat those words!!! Oh well, I realise now that it could me much worse!! Another one that looks just like me!!

In between Madie Mae and Nicholas was precious little Malachi!!! He is an angel in Heaven! I lost him when I was 20 weeks pregnant! Of course, as some of you reading this may know, that far along, I still had to birth him! Which at that time was the hardest thing I could ever imagine a mother having to do for a child!! For whatever reason, GOD decided to not let Malachi live on this eath with us, but I am looking forward to meeting him when I get to Heaven!!

Then Nicholas-WOW, Nicholas is just Nicholas! He is 2, need I say more?? He is definately in his terrible 2's!! He is our most trying child for this age! He can be so sweet and loving too! He just cracks us up, he has the funniest personality!! He is a "mini-me" to his daddy!!

Finally Gracie Ann!! She is our miracle baby! Not that all of our children aren't our miracle, but you'll have to read her story to fully know this! She is 16 months old and such a smiling, bundle of joy!! She is another one that has the funniest personality! She is a little charmer/ flirt! And wow is she a daddy's girl!!! I tried, but failed to make her a mommy's girl!! She looks like me also!

Isn't is peculiar that the girls look just like me and the boys just like Brian!!

Just an interesting thought, tiring too, but Brian and I have moved 11 times in our 13 years of marriage!!! Can anyone beat that? Not that I am tyring to set a record or anything, believe me each time it gets a little harder and little harder!! I know that isn't really relevant to anything I am saying, but I just thought I would throw that in here!! It's been a long day, so my mind is rambling!!!!

I am going to try to download some pics too, if I can figure this out, if not I'll try again later, and you'll know why they aren't here now!!

Have a great night and a good weekend! Post again soon!
